The Abbey at Farrow Farm Island Mini Retreat and Conference Center is located on a majestic island in Penobscot Bay in Midcoast Maine, .13 miles its widest point.  Islesboro is a perfect retreat paradise with its unspoiled natural beauty.  The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular.

The Abbey is situated on land that has been in our family for over 200 years, and is within walking distance to the shore. The Abbey was designed for all people: people of all faiths and people of none. A place to feel safe and know you are loved. A place to meditate, reflect and pray. The Abbey is a sacred space. Built with my own hands and those of many others and with the grace and blessing of God, the time has come for me to share the beauty of this unique facility. We have held retreats, poetry readings, “movie nights,” and more here. With room for twenty people or so, the common space downstairs makes a great meeting space. Weekend retreats can be held here and on the grounds, with sleeping/kitchen/bathroom facilities on the top three floors. I invite you to experience The Abbey.
